A wedding celebrant creates and delivers a completely personalised ceremony for your wedding day. Unlike a registrar, I'm not bound by a script or legal requirements during the ceremony itself — which means we can include whatever you want, wherever you want it.
In England and Wales, you'll need to do the legal bit separately — either at a registry office before or after your celebration. Many couples pop in for a quick signing a few days before, then have their meaningful ceremony on the day itself. I can guide you through this.
Ceremonies start from £850. This includes everything: our initial chat, the in-depth couple conversation, your fully bespoke ceremony script, vow support if you'd like it, and me on the day. Travel is included within a reasonable distance; I'll let you know if there's an additional fee for further afield.
As soon as you have your date! Popular dates (especially summer weekends) book up quickly. That said, I've also helped couples with shorter timelines, so do get in touch even if your wedding is coming up soon.
Yes! That's the beauty of a celebrant ceremony. Your garden, a beach, a forest, your favourite pub, a stunning barn — anywhere that feels right for you. You're not restricted to licensed venues.
That's completely fine — most couples aren't! Part of my job is to draw out what matters to you both and shape it into something beautiful. We'll figure it out together.
Yes, if you'd like one. Some couples find it helpful to run through things beforehand, especially if you have readings or specific moments planned. It's included in the price.
